Welcome!

This is the first of what I hope to be many posts. This past weekend  we had the great pleasure of installing several native plants and trees at Springdale Park located near the intersection of 12th and Springdale. With the very generous help of Keep Austin Beautiful and Ecotopes, as well as the wonderful volunteers that attended, we created a Habitat Demonstration Garden and planted three large trees that we hope will grow to shade the adjacent playground. We intend to apply for an additional grant from the Austin Parks Foundation to do work on the existing trails and to develop some additional walking or biking trails in the back.

Let's make our neighborhood park a destination for our community and for the city of Austin.
